All of my bowls are finished with a food-safe finish. With minimal care, they can be passed down for generations. No microwave, dishwasher, or refrigerator, just lightly wash with warm soapy water, rinse, then towel dry. If you'd like to rejuvenate your bowl, rub in a small amount of walnut or mineral oil. From time to time, I will have available some wood bowl wax that will be available for purchase, It will restore the natural beauty of the bowl.
Some vases are for dry arrangements only, some can have water added for live flowers. If your vase comes with a glass tube, feel free to add water to the tube to prolong your flowers or other natural plant cutting. If there is no glass tube included, your vase is for dry arrangements only. Please do not add water to these vases, as it will diminish the integrity of the wood and possible permanently damage your vase.
